The workshop has really helped to see the progression through the teaching style, from number lines to year 6. It may have been more useful to time this for the end of year 4.

This was very informative and gave insight into how are children are taught. A very worthwhile exercise.
As methods are so different to what we were taught, could we have some examples sent home for parents use, to remind us what we have learnt today, with their homework.
Different, teaching methods have changed a lot, like the grid method especially…… if it makes the subject more enjoyable for children it can only be a positive step forward.
Needed this session, didn’t get the message properly from the mats and video to be honest.
Found it very helpful to understand methods used. Need to educate myself and challenge existing methods I use to help my child.

It would be useful to provide workshops to parents with younger children, as help can be provided at home from an earlier age.
