Since September 2006 St. Nicholas have had an Active Lunchtime Policy. This means we have games and activities out in the playground at lunchtime – this helps us to stay fit and healthy, as well as learn lots of new skills.
The Active Lunchtime supervisor Mrs Beal plans activities with the help of Playground Players from Year 5. The Playground Players were chosen and trained especially for this job and they help to run the playground games.
They are all doing a fantastic job and St Nicholas playground is now a fun and active place to be every lunchtime!
