Mr. Emery (Headteacher)
I am Mr Emery and I really enjoy being headteacher of St. Nicholas Catholic Primary School. I live in Burton-on-Trent with my wife and three children. In my spare time I like walking, reading and supporting Burton Albion, my local football team. I am impressed with the hard work, commitment and positive attitude of the children, staff and parents at St. Nicholas.

Mrs Devlin (Deputy Head)Hello St Nicholas Website viewers.I’m Mrs Devlin and currently I am enjoying some changes working for the school as Deputy Head and my move to Key Stage1 teaching Year 2.I enjoy being a parishioner of St Nicholas Church,especially working with the World Development Group and taking the youngsters to Alton Castle.When I’m not at work I enjoy long walks,good books,great theatre and tasty food.

Hi Everyone! I’m Mrs Rayment and I work in KS2. I really enjoy working with small groups of children especially when it’s something creative like Design and Technology. When I’m not at school I love going to the cinema to see the latest releases and I also like 80s music.

Mrs Millman
Hi! I’m Mrs Millman and I work in Year 1. I enjoy travelling and reading, usually doing both at the same time. I support the Altar Servers of St Nicholas Church in their duties. Having a sporty family I spend many enjoyable hours, on the sidelines, watching them all compete.

Hi everyone! My name is Ms.Green and I am the year 1 teacher. When I am not in school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and going on as many holidays as possible each year! I also love to read and enjoy taking my dog on long walks at the weekend.

Miss StarkeyI’m Miss Starkey and I teach in Year 3. In recent years I have caught the travel bug and I’d like to see as many parts of the world as I can. I like to keep up with my music-playing hobby. Most days you will find me tinkering and fiddling with technology and gadgets, the more complicated the better!

Mrs Dale
Hello everybody, my name is Mrs Dale and I work in Year 6 as an integration / teaching assistant. When I'm not at school, I enjoy swimming, badminton, cycling, gardening and reading. When I'm feeling energetic, I take my nine year old son to the park and join him in a game of football.

Mrs Barton
Hello I’m Mrs Barton , I’m the Year 4 teacher. Although I’m originally from Liverpool I’ve lived in Birmingham for 20 years now and have come to love it, mainly because the people are so friendly. When not in school I spend my time running around after my three children [who all came to St. Nicholas School], reading, meeting my friends and walking my lovely dog, Harry.

Mrs ReidHello everyone. I’m Mrs Reid and welcome to the St Nicholas School website. I lead Foundation stage and I am one of the teachers of reception class. I really enjoy going to the cinema so long as its not science fiction movies. As I’m an old romantic at heart, my favourite film is Gone with the Wind.

Hello everyone! I'm Mrs Shields and I work at St Nicholas' as a Lunchtime Superviser. I worked for the Birmingham Dental School and University for 33 years.In 2006 I took early retirement and now live in Walmley with my little Westie called Ellie.

Mr. Reid
Hello there. I started teaching here at St. Nicholas' School in 2009 and I love it here. I am currently teaching Year 6. I have responsibility for, amongst other things, PE and ICT throughout the school. When I am not teaching I like to spend time with my family and playing bass guitar in my band!

Hello everyone J My name is Mrs. Doody and I teach in Reception for two and a half days a week. I have worked at St Nicholas’ since September 2008 and I really enjoy teaching here. It is a lovely school and the children are wonderful.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening and cooking as well as spending lots of time with my family.
