School Meals
Our School Meals are all cooked on site where it is ensured children have a choice of healthy meals to choose from. There is a salad cart available every day for children to help themselves to as well as a fruit option for pudding. Children may bring a healthy packed lunch if they prefer.
We have been awarded the Healthy Schools Standard and are continually improving the quality of our school meals with an emphasis on freshly prepared healthy food.
Please find our current School Menu here.
Dinner money – This is now £2.65 per day (£13.25 per week). Please make payments online using the school ParentMail communication system.
School Dinners – If your child changes their meal pattern from School dinners to packed lunch or swap from pizza day to packed lunch we must insist on half a terms notice. Thank you.
Free School Meals
If you think you may be entitled to free school meals for your child you can check using this link:
The Department for Education (DfE) and the UK Government have announced important changes to Free School Meal (FSM) eligibility that came into effect from 1st September 2026. All children in households receiving Universal Credit will be entitled to a free school meal, regardless of income. There will now be two categories of FSM:
-
Targeted FSM – for families on Universal Credit with annual earnings of £7,400 or less, which continues to attract Pupil Premium funding.
-
Expanded FSM – for all other families receiving Universal Credit.
We encourage all families, receiving Universal Credit or not, to submit a FSM application using the link above even if your child is in EYFS or KS1 and receives a Universal Free School Meal. School will be notified of the outcome of your application and receive the appropriate funding.
